For one, we still don’t fully understand the spy games between the CIA and Mossad-why, for instance, both intelligence agencies are actively involved on each other’s turf, why both seem to want the same piece of intelligence suppressed, what else they’ve been keeping from the public, who else they’ve been killing, and how Segev can literally walk through Times Square and not be seen by either.It comes as no surprise that fans of Hit and Runare now searching for news on a potential season 2. The result-a nine episode international spy thriller involving two intelligence agencies, a newsroom with very questionable editorial standards, and what seems to be a Trump-esque White House doing some treasonous shit. Netflix assembled a stacked team to bring this original concept to life, including Avi Issacharoff and Lior Raz (who created the hit Israeli drama Fauda) alongside Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin ( The Killing). How a former special operative traveled from Tel Aviv into the Garden State obviously wasn’t the season’s only mystery or cliffhanger-which entail several unresolved events back in New York and across the world in Israel.
